Diawa Reels (Old School)

Diawa td 1350dm............................
Rear drag reel, long cast spool.Holds Approx 100 m of line.Perfect for longer chucks on the tip rod.
Diawa 2553i.............................
Another rear drag reel, holds approx 100m.Spooled up with supplex 6lb,use this reel for trotting and all close in float work.......................

Diawa 2503XiA..............................
I have two of these reels. The one in picture is spooled up with 8lb Berkley flurocarbon vanish. The reel features a clutch at the front, very smooth with numbered settings,so you can set the tension to perfection. The other reel is on my pellet waggler set up.

WHY OLD SCHOOL........
Ive messed around with quite a few different reels for my coarse fishing, had a few shimano reels,a whisker and a drennan series 7 reel. You could say ive a reel fetish, which is probably true with swapping and changing.I started looking round at early model reels, these are from the 90,s and were around the £70-£100 Mark when they were produced. They are a very reliable reel to use,no spool wobble and in near perfect condition.Im not saying these reels are better than whats out there today, but i have found the reels that complete my set ups.I also have plenty of spools, original box,s and even the bags.
