Breaking Surface Charity Match 18th May 2013

This years match was in aid of scotty,s little soldiers.The venue Bradshaw Fishery Bolton Lake 4.When the draw took place i was hoping for peg 23-25,but drew 29,happy days,well it wasnt.I fished the method and pellet waggler.It was like a cold february morning,so it was bib & brace,fleece and big coat,not actually great weather for may.I had 3 carp ,lost 3 carp & a skimmer for a total weight of 10.6.Not as good as my 68lb last year.The winner had 81 lb,2 43 lb,3 42lb,good weights on a cold day.Ive supported these matches for 3 years and there a very enjoyable day.After the match theres an auction and a raffle,always do well in the raffle.So thats me ,time for some Tench,Tight Lines......................................
