Beacon View Fishery Appleby Bridge Wigan 18th April 2013

Went today to pay charity match deposit with mike.After being not well for nearly 3 weeks it was great just to get out fishing again.It was blowing a gale and we decided to try peg 5&6.There was 2 others fishing further down from us.Started on prestons using groundbait and corn.It seemed to take ages and i had a bream,finally a fish,lol...As the day wore on it got harder,switched to micro,s on feeder and tried various hookbaits,nothing .Decide to go on pellet wag,it was difficult to cast,carp were showing on top.mike was waiting for his first bite.I had 3 more bream,all to different hookbaits.I cannot believe how hard it was today,mike blanked and my day was 4 bream............Tight Lines............
